Appartements
Gurvikdal provides six appartments of high standard with cooking facilities. Each appartment have their own smallboat with a 40hp motor, echo sounding, elstart and handlebars with console. The appartments are rented on a weekly basis from saturday to saturday, or otherwise upon request.

Fishing facilities
Gurvikdal Deep sea fishing center offers a room for claning the fish, a big refrigerator room and an icemachine. The center rents out fishing rods and do sell some fishing equipment. The boats that follow the apparments are equipped with maps, oars and an anchor. Lifejackets are distributed at the center.

History and fishing
Gurvikdal Deep sea fishing center is the oldest center of fisherman's sharcks at Frøya. The center used to be landing spot for fishing boats, but has been a fishing center since 1991. Roger Lyngvær, born at Frøya, is your host during your fishing vacation. The deep fish center is well situatede for cod fishing, as the fjord is a spawning ground for cod.

Location
Gurvikdal is situated at Frøya, north of Tondheim. With car from Trondheim you take the classified road 714 to Orkanger, and follow 714 to Hitra. From Hitra there are signs to the neighbour island Frøya. To get to Gurvikdal, you take right after the tunnel and follow the signs to Nordskag. Then you will soon see the sign to Gurvikdal Deep sea fishing center.
